Facebook pays Instagram 1 Billion $.

Photography: Instagram – filter photos forever

Facebook has paid $1 billion for Instagram. This story explains its huge success.
The app took off in a big way in 2011 with millions of users floating to download it and share photos of their events, personal.etc but with hints of weird fuzziness, monochrome or sepia added in for effect. Facebook was smitten and Mark Zuckerberg didn't care who knew it, which helped Instagram snag the $1bn deal, as part of the social giant's desire to ensure photo fans were still part of its ecosystem and continue to boost its mobile pull on its user base.
Thousands of other photo apps exist for all kinds of requirements, while services like Vine are opening a new era of video-based apps, as the world of photography is open to millions like never before.
